This course familiarizes nurses with the fundamentals of the Ohio Revised Code (ORC). This code is the legal basis for evaluating and disciplining nurses in the state of Ohio. The Board determines the boundaries of safe practice, nursing process, safety, discipline, and delegation. It is of utmost importance that each nurse in Ohio be familiar with the standards of each major area of practice.
Upon completion of each course, a certificate of completion will be generated in your name. In order to receive contact hours for this course, the learner must successfully complete the course exam with a 70% or better.
